I enjoy drawing darker scenes, because they are easier on my eyes. As a result of long hours of screen staring, my eyes now have the light tolerance of deep sea creatures. I found this tragic but also somehow poetic, what I enjoy so much- image consuming- is at the same time physically consuming me. Until the day I can produce nothing but pitch black drawings. . .
