Rongnotes (Liu, Hui Rong) is an artist and architect based in Berlin, Germany.

Born and raised in Taiwan, she moved to the U.S. in 2013 in pursuit of higher education in Architecture. She received a full tuition scholarship for a Bachelor full professional program at The Cooper Union in New York City.

Since then, she has been pursuing art and architecture in parallel: Drafting construction drawings by day, painting and sketching by night.

After relocating to Germany in 2019, she had an opportunity to exhibit her collection of hand drawings ” Love Letters to Greenpoint” at Kunst Salon in Berlin, as well as exhibit her digital painting in the exhibition “New York Titans” in collaboration with Studio Rombo in New York City in 2021.

She is a registered architect in the state of Berlin. Her first building renovation project- that she designed and led the construction – was recently completed in the woods of Brandenburg, Germany.

Her most recent artistic endeavours, apart from her day to day architectural commitment, can be seen and followed at @rongnotes .
