Rongnotes (Liu, Hui Rong) is an artist and architect based in Berlin, Germany.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Liu moved to United States in 2013 in pursuit of higher education in Architecture. She received a full tuition scholarship for a Bachelor full professional degree at The Cooper Union in New York City. She was awarded the George Ledie Fund Annual Prize, Benjamin Menschel Travel Fellowship and William Cooper Mack Thesis Fellowship for her thesis project “ 72 Hours City”, a project that explores the global salmon production/ delivery chain and the cultural and spatial implications surrounding it.
Liu is a registered architect in the state of Berlin, Germany, where she is currently based. She has established Rongnotes in 2019, her drawing practice that inhabits the space between art and architecture. She has participated in various exhibitions in both Berlin and New York.
